Seminal world fusion pioneer hears sounds unseen

Hassell is a pioneer of fourth world and techno-tribal music who studied with Stockhausen and played with Terry Riley. He's one of the most influential musicians of the last 40 years–just ask Peter Gabriel, Brian Eno or Ry Cooder. We put him into the Echoes Chamber where he listens to music that has shaped his career, and some that can claim him as an influence.
