Echoes: Contest Rules

All valid entries will be placed in a random drawing.

One First Prize Winner will get an iPod Nano.
Five Second Prize Winners will get the Top 5 CDs in the Poll.
Ten Third Prize Winners will get a copy of STILL: ECHOES-THE ECHOES LIVING ROOM CONCERTS V.15.

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a. You can submit your entry starting on Tuesday November 10, 2009. All entries must be received by Echoes no later than 9:00am. Eastern Time on Friday December 11, 2009.

b. To participate in the contest, use any one of the following methods, but all entries must include your first and last name, mailing address, email address, and answers to the four questions in the poll:

-Complete the Best of Echoes 2009 listener poll on-line.

or

-Send us a postcard with the following information: your name, mailing address, email address (if applicable), phone number and the station or other method you use to hear Echoes, to Echoes, PO Box 256, Chester Springs, PA 19425 or by fax to 610.827.9614.

c. Echoes is not responsible for a submission that is lost, undelivered or misdirected, or for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

d. From all entries, one first prize winner, five second prize winners and ten third prize winners will be chosen at random on Monday December 14, 2009, and will be notified by email or telephone.

2. Eligibility Restrictions
The contest is open to United States residents 13 years or older. Employees of Echoes, its contest sponsors, and the members of their households are ineligible to participate in the contest or win. One entry per person.

3. The Prizes:
a. The First Prize is an iPod Nano. It has a total estimated retail value of approximately $229.00. The Second Prize is a set of the five top CDs from the poll results. It has a total estimated retail value of approximately $75.00. The Third Prize is the CD Still:Echoes-The Echoes Living Room Concerts Volume 15. It has a total retail value of $15.98.

b. The prizes will be shipped by Echoes upon the winners' provision of certification of eligibility and an executed prize receipt and publicity release.

4. Selection of Winner:
a. Decisions of Echoes’ staff with respect to the contest are final.

b. One first prize winner, five second prize winners and ten third prize winners will be selected at random on Monday December 14, 2009, from all eligible entries received by the deadline.

c. Echoes will contact the winner. If the prizewinner does not claim the prize within two days after the winner is notified, that contestant will forfeit the prize.

5. Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. The winner must also sign a prize receipt and certify compliance with all eligibility requirements prior to release of the prize.

c. Echoes, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Echoes Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

6. Right to Make Changes
Echoes reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

7. No Purchase Required
No purchase or donation is necessary.

8. Responsibilities
Echoes is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

9. Copies of the Contest Rules
Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at www.echoes.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Echoes Listener Poll Contest, P.O. Box 256, Chester Springs, PA 19425.
