Thank you for inquiring about submissions to Echoes.
Here are our guidelines:

SUBMITTING MUSIC TO ECHOES

Echoes is a two hour, daily music show heard on over 130 public radio stations in the United States.

Artists and music are the lifeblood of ECHOES and we are always seeking out new material to feed the beast.  We welcome your submissions to ECHOES.

• We strongly encourage you to send your material on Compact Disc. If your music is only available via digital download, we require you to burn a CD and send it with a jewelbox & printed spine. We will download material, but when you consider that we are receiving hundreds of CD submissions each week, you are seriously reducing your chances of audition and airplay if you count on that.
  
  
• Keep in mind that not all music is appropriate for ECHOES. You may have created a masterpiece, but it may not fit with the ECHOES sound or mission. Don't take it personally. We receive over 2500 submissions each year. For an idea of what we play, check out our broadcasts, our netcasts and our playlists. For more info, go to www.echoes.org.
  
  
• You may call about the disposition of your material. John takes tracking calls every Thursday, 12PM-4PM ET at 610-827-9600. Our daily playlists are available thru our web site at www.echoes.org. If your recording doesn't appear there, chances are it is not being played, for whatever reason.
  
  
• Echodisc, the mail order arm of Echoes, only sells Echoes produced CDs.  We now route all our listeners to Amazon.com, CDBaby.com and iTunes to purchase CDs or songs heard on the program.  Listing your albums with them is NOT a prerequisite for Echoes airplay.  It's just an easy way for you to benefit from Echoes airplay by selling some of your CDs.
  
  
• Send two copies of the FULL PRODUCTION RELEASE of your CD.  Please do not send slim packs or cardboard sleeves if a full jewel box or digipak is available.  Include your contact name, address, phone, FAX and e-mail to:
