Guitar Musings
It happens every summer: musicians hit the road on the concert tour circuit, and many drop by our Pennsylvania studio to record a Living Room Concert. Many of them are guitarists, portable for the touring life and versatile enough for a solo performance. In the waning days of summer, we listen back to some of our favorite guitar visitors from years past.

ADRIAN LEGG (R)
with Echoes host John Diliberto (L)
(2003)
|
Veteran English guitar eccentric, Adrian Legg plugs into the Echoes Living Room for an extraordinary concert of guitar music that defies categorization. Based in folk traditions from England to Appalachia, Adrian Legg is nevertheless a thoroughly modern musician, using a custom electric guitar with special banjo pitch-bending pegs and an array of electronic processing effects.
Although his album GUITAR BONES is all acoustic, Legg was decidedly electric when he played some of this music live on Echoes.

The co-composer of most of Billy Idol’s hits, Stevens shows a different side to his guitar playing, performing this music for the first time ever live, exclusively on Echoes.
