A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH MICHAEL GULEZIAN
Michael Gulezian is from the post Leo Kottke/John Fahey generation of finger-style guitarists who play their instrument like a cross between percussion and piano. Gulezian was actually a protege of the late Fahey and recorded his first album for Fahey's Takoma label in 1982. That album was re-issued last year on CD and now Gulezian has a new recording, LANGUAGE OF THE FLAME. It's a virtuoso, some might say, pyrotechnic tour-de force of extended acoustic techniques.
