KAKI KING: HER WAY OR THE SUBWAY
Kaki King began her career playing on New York City subway stops. Now this frighteningly virtuoso and independent guitar player from Brooklyn has a new, critically acclaimed CD called EVERYBODY LOVES YOU (Velour Records). She's adapted the extended techniques of Preston Reed and Michael Hedges and discovered her own distinctive voice. Kaki talks about a music journey from New York subways to concert stages.
