YUVAL RON'S HANDS ACROSS THE SEA
Yuval Ron creates a fusion between Middle Eastern, Jewish and western music. He's produced albums for Turkish multi-instrumentalist Omar Faruk Tekbilek and collaborated with Vas singer Azam Ali. His group, the Yuval Ron Ensemble, plays music of Sufi origin, as well as Jewish prayers from Morocco and Yemen and Armenian Church chants. In his Los Angeles studio, Yuval Ron talks about his trans-global, trans-spiritual music.
