ECHOES JUNE CD OF THE MONTH
BT: MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE FILM "MONSTER" (DTS)
Monster was a harrowing film portrait of Aileen Carol Wuornos, a street prostitute who was executed for killing seven men in Florida during the 1980s. But counterpointing Wuornos's tragic tale is a haunting score by BT (Brian Transeau). He crafts a melancholy refrain of tremolo guitar, chime-like keyboards and ripped metal into a haunting landscape. A special bonus of this disc is a DVD 5:1 surround CD. We get immersed in the score to Monster, the Echoes June CD of the Month.
