DWELLER AT THE THRESHOLD ANSWERS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR
The children of 1970's Space Music were born years ago. Now, the grandchildren of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Jean Michel Jarre are emerging. Among them are a Portland, Oregon group called Dweller at the Threshold. This synthesizer trio creates ambient spacescapes mixing old-style analog synthesizers with newer digital versions. Dweller recently released a three disc retrospective called FULL BOUNDARY CONDITION (Quantum Records). A few years ago we talked with the Dwellers about music born in electronics and launched into space.
