TOMMY EMMANUEL'S AUSTRALIAN AMERICANA
Even though he hails from Australia, Tommy Emmanuel is steeped in the traditions of American folk and country music. He's been playing professionally since he was seven years old, touring Australia in a family band. After years working in ensembles and playing sessions, he's been going it solo, plying a virtuoso display of finger-style guitar. His latest album is ONLY (Favored Nations Acoustic). Tommy tells how he unlocked the secrets of Chet Atkins and his own unique take on the acoustic guitar.
