Echoes Playlist
Pierre Bensusan is one of the idiosyncratic geniuses of modern finger-style guitar playing. Although he's French with styles ranging from middle eastern to Celtic music showing up in his playing, he's really a musical descendent of John Fahey, creating a uniquely personal approach to the acoustic guitar. George Winston bows down before him. Michael Hedges named a tune after him. Pierre Bensusan comes to the Echoes Living Room where he plays music from his latest CD, ALTIPLANOS (Favored Nations Acoustic).
