Peppino D'Agostino is an Italian-born finger-style acoustic guitar virtuoso who plays before hushed audiences following the intricacies of his deft filigree. Stef Burns is an electric guitar shredder more comfortable in front of screaming Alice Cooper fans. But these two artists, neighbors in the far East Bay suburbs of San Francisco, have gotten together for an album of refined electric-acoustic interplay that's part pastoral acoustics and part Ennio Morricone.
