ECHOES FEBRUARY CD OF THE MONTH
INTERNATIONAL GUITAR NIGHT II: BRIAN GORE, MIGUEL DE LA BASTIDE,
CLIVE CARROLL AND D'GARY

It's a finger-style fantasy for February when we explore International Guitar Night II. San Francisco guitarist Brian Gore gathers Canadian flamenco player Miguel De La Bastide, English finger-style picker Clive Carroll and the afro-centric Madagascan, D'Gary together on the same stage where they give a master class in finger-style techniques. Recorded live, the musicians engage in solos, duos, trios and quartets, reviving the the idea of the virtuoso guitar ensemble. We'll hear them as Echoes February CD of the Month

LOSAR: A TIBETAN CELEBRATION
It's 2008 in the U.S., but it's 2134 in Tibet

The Tibetan New Year is a multi-day celebration and we'll jump in the middle with a Himalayan soundscape. We journey to the mountain with music from Nawang Khechog, Choying Drolma, David Parsons and more in an atmosphere where the air is thin and the spirit high.
