Echoes Playlist

Viktor Krauss is a bass player steeped in country and bluegrass, but he takes that background and applies ambient chamber music designs on his debut CD, FAR FROM ENOUGH. Born in Champaign, Illinois and currently living in Nashville, he's the older brother of new bluegrass superstar, Alison Krauss. She appears on his CD, as well as guitarist Bill Frisell and dobro player Jerry Douglas. Viktor Krauss talks about his cinematic tone poems, steeped in open-country air.
